Scavenging will be a primary focus for all survivors. All items can be found in the places you would expect to find them. Food cans in cupboards, scrap metal at junkyards, and alternators inside vehicles.
Buildings can be barricaded shut, fortified, and used to craft various things to help you survive. Structures are a great way to defend your allies and stockpile, but be careful because the scarcity of resources and unwanted attention will make you think twice about staying in one spot for too long.
Combat is real time and entirely player skill based but don’t waste ammo and remember that a machete makes a lot less noise. It’s not all about shooting, strategy and traps also play a big part in your survival.
Your job is not to die, and you can go about that however you want, as the world is completely open.
